Why Homeowners Pick TechPro for TV Mounting

Plenty of people will hang a TV. Very few hang it perfectly — centered, level, secure, with no wires showing. That's the standard here.

👨‍🔧

The Owner Does It Himself

Andrew Duran personally mounts every TV. No random subcontractor, no trainee learning on your wall — the person with the reputation on the line is the person holding the drill.

📺

Thousands of TVs Mounted

This is TechPro's #1 job, done thousands of times over across Central Florida. That repetition is why the placement, the height and the finish come out right — and why 91 Google reviewers all gave five stars.

Wire Hiding Done Right — No Cheap Kits

The difference between a professional install and a cheap one is what you don't see afterward.

In-Wall Concealment, to an Electrician-Level Standard

We hide wires the professional way: power and cables routed inside the wall, finished clean, so the TV looks like it floats. No dangling cords, no plastic raceway strips glued to your paint. It's the same standard you'd expect from an electrician's finish work — because a mounted TV with visible wires is only half an install.

Not the cheap kits. Plenty of installers rely on surface cord-cover kits — the stick-on plastic channels that scream "shortcut" and don't even fit every situation. We don't use them as the answer.

Exterior wall on the other side? Still handled. Those cheap in-wall kits can't be used at all when the other side of the wall is an exterior wall — insulation, fire blocking and no access make them a dead end, and plenty of installers just give up or leave the cords showing. Andrew has a proper method for those walls too, so the wires still end up hidden and the finish stays clean. If another installer told you your wires can't be hidden, call us before you believe it.

TV Mounting Questions, Answered

How high should a TV be mounted?

For most living rooms, the center of the screen should sit at eye level from where you sit — roughly 42 inches from the floor to the center of the TV for typical couch seating. Bedrooms, bars and standing viewing areas sit higher. We measure from your actual furniture and seating, not a one-size template, so the height feels right the first time.

Can the wires be hidden completely?

Yes. Our standard approach is in-wall wire concealment: power and cables are routed inside the wall so the TV looks like it floats — nothing dangling, no surface cord-cover kits stuck to your wall. That clean, finished look is the whole point of hiring a professional.

What if the other side of the wall is an exterior wall?

That's exactly where cheap in-wall kits fail — they aren't made for exterior walls, with their insulation, fire blocking and lack of access from the other side. Andrew has a proper method for exterior walls too, so your wires can still end up hidden and the finish stays clean. It's one of the most common reasons homeowners call us after another installer said it couldn't be done.

Do you mount TVs over fireplaces?

Yes — over-fireplace mounting is one of our specialties. We account for heat, viewing angle and the higher mounting position, and we can fit tilt or full-motion mounts that bring the screen down to a comfortable viewing height when you're watching.

What TV sizes do you mount?

Any size — from a small bedroom TV to the biggest screens on the market. The mount, anchors and hardware are matched to your TV's size and weight and to your wall type, whether that's drywall, brick, stone or a fireplace wall.
